Train Museum Camlik

Train Museum Camlik

It is the largest steam locomotive museum in Turkey. It features 33 steam locomotives, who served for many years.

This museum will fascinate everyone, especially those over 50 who remember the steam trains travel at times when the famous Orient Express crossed Turkey from one extreme to another, from Haydarpasa to Kars.

A regular bus service from the bus station of Selçuk is a way to get to the museum, but the most popular is undoubtedly going by train, a beautiful train ride (this one for diesel) from the stations of Selçuk or Izmir and through peach trees olive and fig groves, enjoying the view of the Palace of Selçuk between tunnels that will eventually lead us to Çamlik.

The museum also displays motors, parts and items associated with the world of railways. Open every day from 8:00 to 20:00 and the entrance has a value of 20 TL.
