Kayseri Airport is the largest and most important airport in the region of Cappadocia. It has two modern terminals, it is 75 kilometers from Goreme and one hour’s drive to Cappadocia.
The airport opened with a domestic terminal in 1998, now rebuild in a new location and inaugurated in 2010. Three years before the international terminal started operating.
From the airport you can take taxis to your destination 24 hours a day and there are also shuttle buses to and from Kayseri city center every 20 minutes. At the airport you can find Car Rental offices. However, many accommodations in Cappadocia offer shuttle services from the airport.
