This is the first commercial history museum in Turkey, created by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
It exhibits ship models, ceramics, clay figurines, stamps, glassware, gold, silver and bronze coins, in chronological order and belonging to prehistoric times, archaic, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine, as well as balances and calculators from Ottoman merchants. There is also a photo exhibition depicting the commercial life of Izmir in recent times.
Open weekdays, from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00. Admission is free.
