There are several ways of transportation to/from the airport. The Metro is the most economical. For only 2 lira (TL) you can purchase a card or electronic ticket called Jeton to access the M1 line, to Aksaray. From Aksaray, if you find it convenient, you can transfer to Zeytinburnu and there take the T1Tram line, very popular, that crosses the historic city center, or take the Metrobus, to travel to other destinations. In the transfer you must use another Jeton. The entire trip can take about 50 minutes – 1 hour.

Atatürk Airport has three terminals: domestic, international and Cargo. 41 million travelers flight through Atatürk Airport in 2012.

How to get to the city from the airport?

There are buses (Havatas) that for the price of 10 TL lead us to the Taksim Square, medullary center of Istanbul European life, going throught Sahil Yolu and Aksaray. They leave every half hour in both directions. The tour takes about 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.

From the Atatürk Airport you can find taxis to the city center, and vice versa, priced between 40 and 50 TL, depending on the hour. Alternatively, for a similar price, you can have a private shuttle to the hotel, that you can book and coordinate with us in advance. At the airport the major companies offer car rental services.
