About Princes Island’s Tour

After breakfast you will meet with your guide who will accompany you for this relaxing/traditional tour. You will transfer to port where we get public boat to Princes’ Islands, Buyukada (Big Island) the popular summer resort with sandy beaches and pinewood scenery, once the pleasure island of Byzantine Princes. It is also served as a place of exile for disgraced princes in days gone by. Our boat will round Sarayburnu (Seraglio Point), the headland on which the domes and minarets of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque can be seen.

Upon arrival to the island, you will see the lavish Ottoman mansions and other beautiful Victorian summer villas around the island by horse-drawn carriage tour – one of the islands only means of transport, for motor-vehicles are strictly prohibited. There are colorful fruit trees, beautiful gardens, wooded areas and exotic flowers to be seen everywhere. Afterwards, you can enjoy a delicious lunch in a cozy sea-side fish restaurant and relax looking back at the domes and minarets among skyscrapers of modern Istanbul’s skyline.

This is a perfect day for relaxing and enjoying one of Istanbul’s residents’ favorite summer retreats but first, we need to hire our carriage to Aya Yorgi Church Hill. Upon arrival to the entrance of the hill, we will start our “wishing” ritual. After reaching church and light our candles, we walk down to hill. Rest of the day is for relaxing…

Pick-up point

We will pick you up from you inform us, from where you prefer, either  airport,  hotel,  cruise or elsewhere.

Pick-up time

Pick up time will be defined by you, and from then on you will have your  eight hours tour, so, we recommend you to set the pick-up time between 8:00 and 10:00 am.

The remaining amount will be paid  in cash the day of the activity.

The cancellation means the  loss of the deposit.
Date and time modifications can be made without penalties, according to our availability.
