Archaeology and Ethnography Museum of Hacibektas

This museum was opened in 1988 and displays the objects obtained in the excavations of Karahoyuk.

At the entrance of the museum they provide information about the quarries in the area and show onyx ornaments, known as the “stones of Hacibektas“.

The museum consists of three main parts. The first shows the archaeological findings from the Bronze Age, the second the Phrygian, Hellenistic and Roman and the third, the items from the Ottoman period.
